Work getting done

"If I want to know what got done, I have to drive out there."

You have 3 crews out. You can stand next to one of them. Everything the other 2 did today is in somebody else's head until he gets back to the yard.

First call is free. So is the visit.

The work got done. That was never the problem.

Your guys are good. Here is where it actually goes.

  1. 3 crews go out Monday morning.
  2. Each foreman knows exactly what happened on his site.
  3. What reaches you is a group text with 4 photos and no job attached to any of them.
  4. A customer asked for an extra step. Your guy said yes, because he is not going to argue with her.
  5. Friday you ask what happened Tuesday, and you get most of it.
  6. The extra step is the part nobody remembers, and it was the margin on the job.

What we build for this.

The system · Crew Updates

Your crew gets the day's work in their language, on the app they already use. Photos, a status and a voice note come back in English, filed against the right job, and they stay there. Anything that changed on site gets flagged the same day instead of surfacing at month end.

Your guys do not learn anything and nobody logs into anything. If it takes training, it will not get used, and a system your crew works around is worse than no system.

Ridgefield · wall and pillar

2 photos and a voice note, on the job.

Wall complete to the corner. Pillar built. 2 pallets of stone moved off the driveway.

Pillar cap slipped to tomorrow. Not on the schedule yet.

He types in English. His crew reads Spanish. What comes back reaches him in English, filed against the job.

What you see afterward.

  • What every crew did today, by job, without calling anybody.
  • The photos, attached to the job instead of buried in a group text.
  • Anything that changed on site, flagged the day it changed.
  • What is waiting on a delivery, a decision or an inspection.

What it does not do.

It does not track your guys. No location, no timers, no scorecards. It catches what they did, not where they were.

It does not replace your foreman. He still runs the crew. This just means what he knows does not stay in his truck.

It does not need a new app. It runs on WhatsApp, which your crew already has open.

How this goes.

30 minutes on the phone. 1 hour at your shop. One page back in 2 days. All of that is free. Then $1,000 down and 2 weeks to the first thing running.
